YOUTH PASTOR – Balwyn Baptist Church

Part-time (24 hours per week)

Position Description

KEY TASKS:

• Work with Senior Pastor and Church Leadership Team to develop youth leaders
• Communicate Biblical truth to Years 6-8 and Year 9-12 on a weekly basis.
• Provide a safe place for Fun, Fellowship and Food
• Provide pastoral care for youth
• Monthly youth service.
• One youth camp per year.

RELEVANT REQUIREMENTS:
• Personal, authentic, faith in Christ in action
• Deep love for God
• Empathy and love for others
• Passion for mission
• Bible College training
• Previous youth ministry experience with students in Years 7 – 12 preferable.
