YOUNG ADULTS PASTOR – Balwyn Baptist Church

Part-time (8 – 12 hours per week)

Position Description

KEY TASKS:
• Work with Senior Pastor, Youth Pastor and Church Leadership Team
• Communicate Biblical truth to young adults on a weekly basis.
• Provide pastoral care
• Provide a safe place for Fun, Fellowship and Food

RELEVANT REQUIREMENTS:
• Personal, authentic, faith in Christ in action
• Deep love for God
• Empathy and love for others
• Passion for mission
• Bible College training
• Previous ministry experience preferable.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Young adults’ program

The successful appointee must be eligible to work in Australia; hold a current, or willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check, Police Clearance and undertake Creating Safe Spaces training.
