SMALL GROUP:  Today we highlight Happiness Watcher, or Happy and Hopefully Women’s Fellowship, a very special group. Sarah writes, “2020 is such an unusual year. The epidemic has… made things a lot harder for immigrants like us, whose regular family reunions have been stopped due to travel restrictions. The wives and children are here while the husbands are back in China. “

There are nine women in the group, including Xuping, whose idea it was to start this group on July 20th for those whose husbands are in China and are unable to come to Australia. Each day they read a Psalm and watch a related video presented by Tamkang Church, Taiwan, from which they receive God’s words which strengthens their faith.  They then meet twice a month, and discuss any problems or issues that have arisen for them. Through this, they encourage and pray for each other.

On August 23, the group organised a ZOOM gathering to celebrate Sarah’s 50th birthday. They all sang Happy Birthday and shared a beautiful cake with her and her daughters. “It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience” writes Tina.  Linda writes, “Because everyone has the same experience that the husband and wife are separated, so we can understand each other better and have a better connection with each other. We encourage, care and pray for each other.”
